Donny helped me out to set up my gas line at my rental place. Gave my landlord a great price and was so courteous with his service. My landlords love him! He’s was extremely helpful with guiding us as tenants to keep up the maintenance and what to look for if anything were to go wrong! If anyone is looking for someone EXTREMELY kind to help them out with their gas lines, furnaces and air conditioning- THIS is your guy in Durham!

Donnie at guardian angel gave me and my family A1 Customer service and was extremely helpful installing a new furnace for my family, a much more personal touch then you would get from larger companies like enercare. Nearby, I called him at 10:00am. He was available and diagnosed, bought and installed an exhaust fan motor. -Was does by 1:00pm. Quick and professional.

Beware of exorbitant charges from this company!!! I live in Vancouver BC. and moved in to a new house 2 years ago. The Goodman air conditioning unit broke down in this second summer. Checking with various Youtube I think it was mostly due to faulty capacitor in the condenser unit because the fan was running but the compressor was not able to kick in. Unfortunately, it happened just before a long weekend. To make a long story short, we found this Angels Heating and Cooling Company who agreed to come to have a look on a Saturday. The serviceman was 2 hours late past the agreed upon time window, He opened the unit had one look and said he needs to phone about a part on Tuesday but never heard from him since. After several phone calls to the office we were finally given a date to come repair it, and were quoted for $899.00 but no detail were given. The serviceman came on the following Tuesday. He replaced the capacitor and topped up the refrigerant all in 20 minutes. We were presented a bill of close to $2,400! $199 for the initial visit $899 for repair/replace part $1,152 for the refrigerant (48oz x $24/oz) Plus taxes And they only accept cheque, no credit card. I don’t know how much air conditioner repairs in Greater Vancouver generally cost but I was shocked about the bill. I can't believe the charge of $899 to replace a $30 to $50 capacitor plus an extra $1152 for the refrigerant. I went on Facebook to check with the A/C Air Conditioning group and all commented that the charges were excessive. Also, if I needed 48oz of refrigerant, the serviceman did not even check for leaks after. He just said the unit is very cheap and advise us to change it for a better, much more expensive one. I found out from Amazon.ca I can buy a brand new Goodman 2 ton unit delivered for $2,300 If you have time make sure find a reputable company and get a second quote.

My initial interaction with Donny years ago speaks volumes....I have never hesitated to contact him since. My last interaction with Donny a few weeks ago more than shows his character. I contacted him in the early hours of the morning after smelling a gas leak at my elderly parent's home in Whitby. Donny knew that the gas had been turned off by Enbridge and without hesitation arranged to meet me at my parent's home to ensure they would have heat in the height of winter. Did I mention he had another appointment set! His assistance, compassion, and concern will be forever imbedded in me. I was so appreciative for Donny readjusting his schedule just to accommodate us. He truly is the Guardian Angel of Heating & A/C!!!
